In February 2024, PROCON began the technical supervision of the protection works for the Convent of San Francisco, an emblematic 16th-century building located in the Colonial City of Santo Domingo and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Financed by the IDB and the Dominican State, the project includes structural and conservation interventions aimed at mitigating deterioration and ensuring the stability of the architectural complex. The supervision was carried out under a comprehensive approach combining engineering and restoration criteria, ensuring high-quality technical solutions and respect for the monument’s authenticity.
“PROCON’s commitment, communication, and efficiency exceeded our expectations. They gave us confidence at every stage of the project.”
