In 2021, PROCON provided technical supervision for a strategic project financed by the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) as part of a national program to expand sustainable drinking-water and sanitary-sewer coverage. This comprehensive program addresses institutional strengthening of operators, improves public perception, and promotes urban planning to tackle challenges such as unplanned growth and the protection of water sources. In a municipality of 1,322.74 km², supervision included the execution of key infrastructure: a wastewater treatment plant (PTAR), pumping station (EBAR), outfall, collector networks, and household connections. PROCON ensured technical, regulatory, and sustainability compliance, contributing to improved public health and sustainable water management.
“With PROCON, each project is defined with clarity, prioritizing accessibility, respect for the environment, and the quality of urban spaces.”
